Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. Her parents were Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she immigrated to the United States. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She rose to fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships in the family, she started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly and then quit during her sophomore year. She then obtained an GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
